The Keeper

Narrator - Historical Investigations

New_L&F_15thC_scroll_background_2_edited.png

Hidden Hints

The Keeper is the custodian of an archive that exists beyond any single period of history. Its shelves contain records that were never entered into official chronicles: forgotten battles, vanished artifacts, disputed accounts, and secrets carried across generations.

The Keeper does not investigate murders or replace assigned detectives. Instead, the character introduces cases that require a different kind of investigation—one that follows historical traces, examines conflicting accounts, and uncovers connections between events separated by centuries.

No one knows the Keeper’s true name, age, or origin. Some believe the Keeper is a scholar who has spent a lifetime collecting forbidden records. Others suspect the archive—and its custodian—are much older.

The Keeper never tells the visitor what to believe. The role is to present the evidence, reveal the unanswered questions, and invite the visitor to continue the investigation.
